Description

StudentCam is C-SPAN's annual national video documentary competition that encourages students to think critically about issues that affect our communities and our nation. For the 2018 competition, we asked students to choose a provision of the U.S. Constitution and create a video illustrating why it's important to them. Notes from the filmmakers:
Talking about the fourteenth amendment was a difficult task, especially because it's so controversial. But it's an amendment that impacts every single person in the United States -- including me. Which is why I created a video that talks about all the different aspects of the fourteenth amendment regarding the equal protection, due process, and citizenship clause.
