Sophomore Jenna Kingkade founded a class called Food Sustainability Journalism where, every Tuesday evening, 16 graduate and undergraduate students learn about food sustainability issues and food journalism through documentaries, guest speakers and discussion. Each student will contribute to a food sustainability guide that will be distributed to students and community members around Earth Day 2010. The guide will also be available online and may be reprinted for next year���s incoming students. It is Jenna���s hope that, by spreading knowledge, the class can encourage and provide resources for students to engage in sustainable practices while living at Cal and beyond.
