The family business Aschwanden in Seelisberg at the Lake Lucerne
uses only raw, silage-free mountain milk which they collect
everyday from the surrounding farmers. The cheese is produced after
an old recipe to its advantage. After a maturing stage of five
months, the Bergrausch is wonderfully aromatic and full-bodied.
