Hi, everyone, and welcome to the first-year experience session.
I'm Mary Beth Horvath, assistant dean and director of Student Activities and Orientation.
And I she her pronouns. I'm going to allow our other presenters to introduce themselves as well.
Hello, my name's Shai Britanny, I'm a junior in the in the class, you're twenty twenty two and I'm a student activities and orientation assistant.
I'm also the SGA elections, Kohat. Hi, everyone, my name is Sally.
I am a senior currently in the class of twenty twenty one and I am the Thrive curriculum coordinator for this year, as well as being first mentor.
Hi, everyone. My name is Michelle Masini. I'm an associate dean here at Bryn Mawr.
Also an alarm. And I bravely put my class here on the welcome slide.
And so I'm one of the advising. Dean separate. Everyone.
My name is Tunja Nixon. I use she her and they then pronouns.
I'm an assistant dean and current first experience coordinator and I am also an alumni.

My name is Alma Sterling. I'm class of twenty twenty one.
I'm a current thrive mentor for one of the drive plus cohorts and I'm a CPA and that stands for Community Diversity Assist State Coheed.
OK, everybody, I will get us started.
So the overall session topic is first year experience and we really do see our advising program as part of the core of that experience.
Some of you may have gotten to see us.
The advising deans talk a little bit during the summer as part of the family section of customs, virtual customs.
And then we talked about the role of the dean and the general role of the dean trying to help students get oriented to Bryn Ma and help them through,
especially that those first few weeks whi
