Our video takes a brief, but insightful look at Elie Wiesel, a Holocaust survivor turned activist. Wiesel wrote the book "Night" outlining his experiences in Auschwitz. The book gained international attention after it was published making Wiesel a Holocaust remembrance activist. It was his life work to make sure the pain and suffering of the Holocaust is never forgotten. In the early 2000s "Night" became a best selling book once again when Oprah picked it for her book club. Wiesel once again got the chance to share his message and even took a trip to Auschwitz with Oprah. He continued to share his story with a new generation up until his passing in 2016, leaving behind a legacy of activism and awareness about the Holocaust.
