Icrontic tries out the University of Tsukuba's Beacon demonstration
in the Emerging Technologies section of the SIGGRAPH 2010
conference. Beacon is an interactive musical experience that has
one or more laser beams that rotate around a central pillar. When a
laser is encounters an object like a person's leg, it makes a
musical tone. The pitch of the tone is dependent on the proximity
of how close or far the object is.
