Beaufort d'alpage Reserve is produced from alpine milk produced in chalets in the mountains from hardy Tarine cows. This AOC Beaufort is aged for one year and released with its younger d'alpage siblings, from this years milk. This 2009 vintage Beaufort is aged for one year and washed twice per week. Its fine, complex flavor is beautiful and bright with a bouquet of butter, honey, flowers with a slightly acidic finish. Great with big white wines such as Chablis.
