For this year's CSPAN Student Cam contest, we have decided to focus on an issue, still unsolved, that is very relevant to our daily lives and the lives of those around us. This topic is college tuition and student loan debt, and the skyrocketing cost of receiving a higher level education. As juniors in high school, we have seen fellow students struggle through the application process, and the profound impact that monetary commitment can have on students while applying. Through this documentary, we hope to express less on whether or not tuition should be lowered, but more regarding the fact that this is an issue impacting so many of us, and that this issue should be given the proper attention by the new Congress and the new administration.
