This video shows how the data that is plotted on a chart can be computed by a Javascript function. This is done by specifying that the data series on which the chart is based is a "Javascript" data series. Because the chart data is computed by a Javascript function, the chart is only rendered after an Ajax callback is made to refresh the chart.
