I wrapped with my clients about 5 p.m. The ice storms just hit Cincy and things are a mess on this Christmas Eve Eve. Anyway, my clients just left - I hope they travel safe, another just showed up to pick up a gorgeous family portrait, and I just hit the keyboard with this new idea - Conversations, Discussions, Questions and Insights. Give the video a watch, post you feed back, and let me know if we can go anywhere with this interactive concept. Now it's time to check in with the real world - LaDawn, Christmas, & Law and Order on TNT ;~) See ya' tomorrow. -David

More the technology develops more the file sizes get increased. In these days of Pixel race, bigger files are always a problem at the time of storing. Mr. David gives valuable suggestions for managing your files.

I love that you are sharing so much with those of us who are looking to learn! I wondered why you don't just cull out images and then only backup those you feel are "keepers." Is there a reason to keep every shot you and/or your second took?

David, many thanks for sharing your views on the ever larger file sizes now available. It is a breath of fresh air on the situation shared by many of us who are required to shoot a large number of images "on location". The 50+meg file with all the available detail must be a godsend for the studio shoot to match the medium format or above camera producing results to be enlarged to fill a wall. Most of us produce a few prints that may go up tp 24inches but usually our output is in 8x10's.

Now retired i can once again enjoy my photography using my Canon 40D, Birds and landscapes as well as portraits of children and family groups and the odd local wedding with fees going to a Children's Hospice. The back-up situation struck home as I give the "customers" the discs to keep (I may not be around much longer),

Does anyone know why I can't hear him talking in this video? I also had this problem with the video about finding the light. Other videos are fine.
