July 29, 2017 - Singer-songwriter RaeLynn share songs and stories from her new album, Wildhorse, with support from her producer and co-writer Nicolle Galyon. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and includes “Love Triangle,” one of Rolling Stone Country’s Best Twenty-Five Songs of 2016. Her current single is “Lonely Call,” in which, as NPR describes, she rejects “a wishy-washy ex without flinching, sending all of his calls to voicemail” while “steeling herself against the temptation to settle for his vacillating interest.” RaeLynn wrote her first single, the gold-certified “God Made Girls,” with Galyon, Lori McKenna, and Liz Rose. Galyon also wrote “Automatic” (Miranda Lambert), “Boy” (Lee Brice), “We Were Us” (Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert), and songs recorded by Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, and Lady Antebellum.
Presented by SunTrust and offered in support of the exhibit American Currents: The Music of 2016.
