Chancellor Joel Anderson was selected as a Scholar in Residence for the Clinton School Center on Community Philanthropy for his work in the area of race and equity. Chancellor Anderson is successfully leading an effort to establish the first ever Institute on Race and Ethnicity that will reside in the University of Arkansas system. The Institute will serve as the resource for multi-disciplinary research-driven data-including historical sociological educational and economic analysis- in order to combat structural racism and support racial and ethnic justice.
