What will make this really useful is if these initiatives are truly widely adopted and really user friendly.

The interoperability seems a little buggy though although I guess it may still be early days.

There really should be true interoperability if this process is going to work properly otherwise we sit with a kind of slightly more open closed garden.

Doh, yeah we meant to (it was on our cheat-sheet for the episode), but we forgot in the heat of the moment. :( RPXnow is clearly more evidence that there's active work to make the Open Stack easier to implement and more user-friendly.
