In 2007, Chopard sponsored the legendary vintage car race for the 20th time. The Mille Miglia has been held annually from 1927 to 1957 and revived in 1977, taking its competitors over a distance of 1000 miles through magnificent Italian countryside from Brescia to Rome and back again.
Passionate about vintage cars, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele has played an active part in the race since 1988. In his words: “Lovers of fine automobiles are said to have a weakness for precious timekeepers and vice versa. In both domains, extreme precision and sporting elegance play an important role”.
