This is an introduction to using LPub 4 to create instructions for a simple model. When you first run LPub, you need to locate your LDraw directory and a renderer such as LDView (version 3.2 or higher recommended); these steps are shown in the video.
You can download the files featured in the video:
- car-initial.mpd is the unmodified model.
- car-final.mpd contains all the LPub statements.
- gradient.png is the background image.
- car.pdf is the output.
Each page of the instructions, as well as a decorative cover page, are available as images on Flickr.
