Description
Ever wonder what's inside those $30 range extender antennas? I was amazed when I discovered what was inside, and I'll show you how to make your own from an old WIFI antenna for about 5 cents!

Did this on an SMCWBR14S-N4
The antennae doesn't detach so had to solder it while on the router. Works great! used coaxial copper wire and then used the sleeve that was covering the coax since I didn't have a straw. Thanks!

Side note: The ad that you saw before this is for an hField wifi extender. I have used this hardware before and I just wanted to state that I LOVED it. If you do not have the expertise or the desire to do this tutorial, you may want to look into hField's products.

Haha, sweet! I am LOVING your videos! Quick question though, could this work for a wireless router as well? Can't wait until your next video!
