Heartstabber is miles better than Bushwhacker except in very very aggressive decks.

Considering you just picked up three 4-drops in a row, I would strongly consider Terra Stomper or Highland Berserker here.

Yeap you are definitely right about that.

Chalice #2 to fuel your infinite 4-drops!

I think you are giving signals far too much weight in this decision. Unless you just prefer green, I think windrider eel is the pick.

Yeah, part of it was that I was kinda curious about going green because I have seen good green cards go so late so often, even though the Windrider Eel was definitely better.

Money draft the marsh flats, then don't take the guy who is worth only 2 tickets less.

Yeah, we definitely did not realize Talus Paladin is worth money.

I think this is a weird comment after your second pick Mold Shambler. I agree that Bladetusk Boar is the correct pick, but how can you pick Shambler over Eel if it "isn't worth going into green over...." I would have taken Eel pick 2 and pick 3. But, I am no where near the 8-4 level. I can barely handle 4-3-2-2, so you are a much better drafter than I am.

Well we had passed a lot of really good blue but not very much good red in pack 1, I think that was the idea. We were probably overemphasizing the role of signals but that was at least our idea.
