More

This episode features two teas with similar flavors: Adagio's Foxtrot (boiling, 7 minute steep) and Felicitea's Sloth Tea (3 minutes, rumbling). This is Felciitea's first time on STeaP, so give Summer (the masterful tea blender behind the Felicitea name) a friendly welcome. You can also add both Summer and Ilya to your friends list over at our community.

Catnip is a relaxant for humans - the same chemical that makes kitty brains go loopy, creates a mellowing effect in humans. It's good for stress, upset stomachs when mint tea is too much, and a nice mellow flavor to round out mint's tenency to be overwhelming.

You can go longer... I'd say up to 5 or 6. I always go 5 when I make it for cold consumption - that herbal elements balance out the flavor of the gunpowder. Gunpowder is inately more bitter, that's probably what you noticed.
