Description

The summer of 2010 is not shaping up as FCC Chairman Julius
Genachowski had hoped, says Chris Nolter, The Deal's telecom and
media reporter. Back in April, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the
District of Columbia overturned a decision made by the prior FCC,
drawing into question the commission's authority over broadband.
Now the FCC is scrambling to re-establish its regulatory domain. In
this video, Nolter discusses how the FCC's new strategy may
restrict pricing, which could jeopardize the investment thesis in
broadband.
