A Guide to 2012 and the Mayan Calendar, is an effort to raise awareness about a time-keeping system developed thousands of years ago, that has accurately tracked the evolution of human consciousness from prehistoric times to the present. For all practical purposes, the Mayan Calendar ends on October 28, 2011, a little more than three years from now. Will this mean the end of the world? the end of time as we know it? or will this date pass uneventfully?
