That's what i figured. Plus, if you got seated you probably would be waiting a long time for your food. Not sure what Denny's was thinking. Lose lose situation for Denny's and the customer.

From what I read, the managers were happy with the turnout. They assumed that they would get repeat business. I guarantee the servers hated not getting tipped though.
