Description

http://www.tweaktown.com Computex Taipei 2011 - Nicole Scott goes back to her bread and butter with this video and takes a look at a newly released netbook from ASUS at Computex called the X101.

This is a super thin 3-cell battery powered netbook running the Intel Atom N435 processor that will come in a super affordable price of $199 USD. One of the ways ASUS were able to keep the price low on this model was by selling the unit with MeeGo which is a free Linux based operating system.

When we say super thin we mean it. The netbook doesn't exceed 18mm in width and it is also super lightweight at around 950 grams.

Connectors on the X101 are fewer than you would expect from a modern netbook these days but do keep in mind the price. You do get a webcam though which is a nice addition.
