The online dating industry is going through a major consolidation.
Last month IAC/ InteractiveCorp's Match.com acquired Singlesnet;
private equity firm Great Hill Partners LLC has made an offer for
Spark Networks Inc., the owner of online dating site JDate,
BlackSingles.com, and ChristianMingle.com; and more acquisitions
are likely on the way. Bigger players such as Match.com and
eHarmony Inc. are likely to acquire smaller competitors at fire
