Layne has been in the internet industry from its inception, retailing items on newsgroups and forums before there was a World Wide Web. Layne was the founder of FantasticDeals.com, a closeout and liquidation predecessor to Overstock.com. Layne sold that company several years ago to found ServerPlus a provider of wholesale services to ISPs. Layne's experience in working with hundereds of ISPs across the country gives him a unique perspective to what makes and ISP tick and what helps them be successful.
