August 26, 2017 - Singer, songwriter, and producer Shawn Camp has collaborated with Country Music Hall of Fame member Loretta Lynn for the past ten years, and is a member of the award-winning bluegrass group Earls of Leicester. He co-wrote “The Big Man,” “I’m Dying for Someone to Live For,” and “Ruby’s Stool” which appear on Lynn’s forthcoming album, Wouldn’t It Be Great and “White Christmas Blue” on her 2016 holiday album. Camp provided acoustic guitar and backing vocals on Lynn’s 2016 release, Full Circle, and his other writing credits include “How Long Gone” (Brooks & Dunn), “Two Piña Coladas” (Garth Brooks), “Would You Go with Me” (Josh Turner), “Nobody but Me” (Blake Shelton), “River of Love” (George Strait), and songs recorded by Guy Clark, Billy Currington, the Grascals, Willie Nelson & Merle Haggard, Chris Stapleton, and Porter Wagoner. Camp won Grammy awards for Best Folk Album as producer of Guy Clark’s My Favorite Picture of You and Best Bluegrass Album with the Earls of Leicester.
