Making ideas and ideologies more important than the human beings themselves is a big problem. I think it's a mistake call an idea more important than a human being. This is how all the death and mayhem that it causes are justified by the state. We don't go to war, according to statist apologists, to kill human beings just like us who haven't done anything to deserve it, we do so for "democracy", "liberty", "law and order" and other ideas that are "more important" than the people whose lives they affect.
