Turkey doesn't just educate women; a woman (Tansu Çiller) was Prime minister of Turkey from June 25, 1993 to March 7, 1996.

When and where exactly did Caner live under Fascism? I assume this is not a reference to Liberty University.
4. TurretinFan 8:11
His "Jihadeen" claim is bad Arabic. His claim that his father was mujiahdeen (and his grandfather as well) is something for which we cannot find any evidence.
5. TurretinFan 8:21
Elsewhere, Caner has referred to himself as Anatolian. His father was born in Istanbul based on the records we have, so it's not clear what he's referring to here. He has elsewhere claimed to have lived in Ankara and then along the border of Iraq.
6. TurretinFan 8:35
He does seem to be claiming that he actually debates Muslims. We cannot find any actual live debates recorded.
7. TurretinFan 9:26
His claim to have known nothing about America until he came at age 14, is not something that can be explained away by saying he got citizenship at age 14. We know that Caner was in America before November 1980, when he turned 14.
8. TurretinFan 9:18
Notice that Caner is claiming to have obtained misconceptions about America from American TV in Turkey. Does it sound like Caner is joking or serious?
9. TurretinFan 9:36
Turkey is much more lenient than the U.S. when it comes to things like nudity on TV. If Caner can point us to these Turkish censors, we'd be very grateful.
10. TurretinFan 9:54
The idea of Caner reading sub-titles in Turkish would suggest that Caner was more than two years old at the time.
11. TurretinFan 10:10
The Dukes of Hazzard didn't start broadcasting until 1979. In context, is this claim about watching the Dukes of Hazzard just a joke as Geisler has suggested?
12. TurretinFan 10:14
This comment about wanting to marry Daisy Duke prevents the "Dukes of Hazzard" from being an accidental reference to a different show. It locks Caner into this particular show, which didn't air until 1979.
13. TurretinFan 10:27
Sadly, he does seem to have driven fast a few times. But more sad is the suggestion that he gets this from living in Turkey.
14. TurretinFan 11:02
"Stomped like a preacher in a top-less bar" is presumably his way of trying to relate to the soldiers.
15. TurretinFan 11:22
Notice that he claims that this is for "authenticity" and claims to be embarrassed to tell it.
16. TurretinFan 12:12
Notice how he again states that it was after watching these shows that he came to America.
17. TurretinFan 14:01
Dr. Caner's claims here, if true, would seem to disqualify him from being an elder or minister. One suspects its mostly a joke, though.
18. TurretinFan 16:48
The idea that his son ignores him in two languages would require Caner to speak some language other than English.
19. TurretinFan 20:40
Notice his claims to have trained in a madrassah in Istanbul and a madrassah in Cairo. When was that?
20. TurretinFan 21:01
Sworn to Jihad at age 9. An amazing claim.
21. TurretinFan 23:48
This claim that his mother was from a Suffi background is odd. When did she become a Suffi Muslim? She was raised in Sweden by apparently a Swedish Lutheran family.
22. TurretinFan 25:24
It may be that his mother smoked pot or whatever, although not all hookah use is drug-related. There were a lot of drug users in America in the 70's, and it had nothing to do with Suffi Islam for most of them.
23. TurretinFan 28:09
Notice that what he's claiming is that he goes to mosques to listen to the sermons preached there.
24. TurretinFan 28:25
Is that supposed to be Arabic, Turkish or what?
25. TurretinFan 30:26
Notice that the story is still that he became a Christian at 18. It's not like he misspoke once in his lecture and then corrected it later.
26. TurretinFan 30:30
He is basically claiming that he walked into a Christian church wearing the clothes that a religious Muslim man would wear to a mosque.
27. TurretinFan 40:13
Notice that Caner implies that the difference between "jihadeen" and "mujihadeen" is that the person has made hajj - pilgrimage to Mecca.
28. TurretinFan 48:11
Is he seriously suggesting that Charles Martel had the right approach?
29. TurretinFan 53:29
Caner claims that he's never driven a taxi, but that he has worked at 7/11.
30. TurretinFan 54:30
Apparently Caner thinks that keffiyeh means robes.
31. TurretinFan 54:47
What language is this supposed to be?
32. TurretinFan 56:58
Abi is the Turkish familiar term for older brother. It's a little like "Ab" - the Arabic for father. This is mostly interesting because he claims that he called his own father "Abi" in some of his testimonies. Here his son calls him that!
33. TurretinFan 61:20
Just another example of Caner's use of "Jihadeen" rather than "Mujahideen"
34. TurretinFan 64:48
Notice his hand gestures, again indicating as though robes or other long clothing are meant by the word "keffiyeh."
35. TurretinFan 65:11
Are we seriously to believe that Caner bought his wife stilletto shoes thinking she would take this as a sign of his great love?
36. TurretinFan 72:27
Elsewhere, Dr. Caner pointed to his article "Hatriotism" as debating Michael Moore. Here he's talking about video clips. We'd love to see that debate!
37. TurretinFan 72:52
Notice how he describes Michael Moore's supposed reaction to his comments during the debate.
38. TurretinFan 73:26
Look at the standard by which he supposedly is judging Moore to be a liar. Can Caner's own stories withstand that standard of judgment?
39. TurretinFan 74:19
Didn't they make him memorize the presidents in high school in Ohio?
40. TurretinFan 74:41
Notice that he is claiming to have become an American during Reagan's term. Reagan didn't become the President until 1981, several years after the 1978 date that Geisler has claimed is the well-known date that Caner became a citizen.
41. TurretinFan 74:08
Incidentally, it seems likely that Caner became a citizen by virtue of one or both of his parents becoming a citizen, while he was still a minor. As such, I would be surprised to discover that he had to pass any sort of test, or swear any oath of allegiance, though perhaps someone with more familiarity with the rules for citizenship in the 70's and early 80's can say more dogmatically.
42. TurretinFan 0:23
I can't really blame the officer for saying that Caner is "turkish-born" - what other impression would one get from his lectures to the Marines?
43. TurretinFan 0:31
Again, I cannot blame the officer for thinking that Caner came to America at the age of 14. However, as we know, Caner came to America much younger than that.
