Description
Colin twittered he was out of coffee filters so I suggested he use a paper towel instead. Owen challenged me to make a how-to video and put it on Viddler. So I did.

Thanks so much for doing a video about this!! Haha. This is great. I'm going to do it right now!

Now, while I know paper towels work in a pinch... don't forget they leech acid into your coffee making it much more bitter than it would otherwise be. Colin, you should hook yrself up with a reusable metal filter! :)

Challenge accepted and completed! Well done.

Magdalenus, you are right. This isn't a all-the-time option, but just one that works if you are stuck. Personally, I go with a french press most of the time, no filters needed at all.

Oh, and ringmaster, I couldn't not do it once the challenge was laid down!

Thank you so much. I am out of filters and forgot to tell my husband to pick some up. I am also sick so I don't feel like getting out. This was a wonderful way to do it, because for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to do it with a cone filter.
