Sonny and Joe began their business in 1918 as a stand in the Lee
Ave. Market in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Word spread quickly and soon
people from all over the borough were clamoring for Sonny and Joe's
crunchy barrel cured pickles and authentic salads. Some things have
changed since the good old days, but our commitment to upholding a
tradition of hand crafted excellence hasn't.
