Last year the US Customs and Border Protection Service processed more than 400 million people into the United States. Nearly one third of the these people, citizens and non-citizens alike, are chosen for additional scrutiny under "secondary inspections." Many of them of them could have avoided uncertainties, delays, and in come cases outright denial of entry had they been better acquainted with their rights at the border.
This virtual forum, originally held in Buffalo, New York on July 1st, 2009 will address many of the questions that travelers, citizens, and non-citizens alike face each day at the border.
Knowing your rights is the first step in standing up for them.
