First Grandpa demonstrates his experiment then torments E with a rubber chicken and a freaky cat thing.
What I missed before the video starts is that Grandpa hooks a fork and spoon together then puts a toothpick through the tongs of the fork and then balances the fork and spoon from the glass. Where the video starts, he is lighting the toothpick on fire. It burns to the edge of the glass but the fork and spoon remain hanging.
