Ohhh! LOVE. Now it all makes sense, and I mean that in the best, happiest way possible!

However, there is "happy" and there is getting work done, so I guess I just worry that you're move isn't helping your career... and I know you have plenty of time, but it seemed like you were just getting started and now you're walking away.

Sorry to hear about the iMovie dump. Try to get into the habit of hitting command-s frequently after any little additional editing effort. Even Final Cut Express will dump on occasion (I stopped using iMovie back in v6.0.2 days). Video is still difficult/tough processing all the different codecs/images, audio, tweaks. But it is a huge improvement over making videos with cuts between VHS decks back in the day. Command-S is your friend. Maybe try duplicating your video effort midway or at anytime you stop for a break just in case so you have something to go back to in the event of some random corruption glitch. Any thought of repairing your air conditioning before the trip? I just had an AC compressor lockup myself which I have to get around to swapping out after flushing the system, etc... Time for an iPhone 3g!
