James, a newcomer to the Bella Vista neighborhood of Philadelphia, has been garnering widespread praise since it opened.
In August 2007, Philadelphia Magazine gave James' roast chicken its "Best of Philly" Entrée award, citing its "moist, meaty and aromatic" flavor and texture.
But that was only the beginning -- James just recently received incredible national recognition when Food & Wine first called its risotto alla Kristina one of the "Ten Best Dishes of 2007" and then named Chef Jim Burke one of the ten "Best New Chefs in America" in April 2008.
