Disclaimer: The video quality of this video is not a true indication of how the video looks once uploaded. I actually experimented with Flash Media Encoder before finally uploading it. Probably a bad idea. So I will be re-uploading this video probably...maybe!

I finally broke down and purchased a new Flip Video Camera because my current one (the original Flip) is busted and not dependable in the heat of the moment. So here is my unboxing, hope it excites new folks to buy one. I high recommend. Here's why...
-It's called flip because a USB connector flips out and you can connect it directly to your computer to import and upload your videos directly to the internet.
-Mac users especially will notice that when it is connected iPhoto automatically opens up and prompts you to copy the videos to the Hard Drive. Once you do so and open up iMovie '08 (or '09) the movies are there for you to edit right out of iPhoto's library. Although I use a combination of Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Express HD.
-The biggest plus for you non-editors that don't want to be bothered, and just upload direct to the internet..well, you can! Plug it into your computer, let it copy and then upload the vidoe files just as they are directly to your favorite video sharing site (most sites should accept .avi files).
-It's compact
-It fits in your pocket
-Oh and did I mention that it charges just by leaving it plugged into your computer's USB port. No batteries required. The battery is built in. :)
Well that's all the information I can think of right off the top of my head.
Enjoy and...
Stay synced!
