Summation of a 2010 symposium on Arctic biodiversity by Dr. Mark Graham Director of Research at the Canadian Museum of Nature.

Nine noted scientists and policy experts on Arctic issues were featured at the symposium. Topics covered the impacts of climate change changes to Arctic biodiversity the importance of traditional knowledge and the need for new technologies in order to share data. Priorities for research and for public awareness were also addressed.

The Arctic Biodiversity Symposium was held at the Canadian Museum of Nature on November 18 2010. The event was held in honour of International Year of Biodiversity.
