March 5, 2011 - Norro Wilson was elected to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1996 on the strength of country classics such as “The Most Beautiful Girl,” “The Grand Tour,” and “ A Picture of Me (Without You).” The Kentucky native moved to Nashville in 1957 and scored his first #1 with “Baby, Baby (I Know You’re a Lady)” in 1970. Wilson’s other chart-toppers include “A Very Special Love Song,” “Never Been So Loved (in All My Life),” “ Night Games,” and “Soul Song.” He penned Tammy Wynette’s hits “ Another Lonely Song,” “He Loves Me All the Way,” “I’ll See Him Through,” and “My Man.” Wilson also found success as a record producer, performer, publisher, and label executive.
