September 30, 2017 - Lynn Anderson’s career extended from country to pop and from California to Tennessee. She was a champion equestrian and an award-winning entertainer who expanded country music’s audience with pop-influenced songs and a charismatic TV presence. To celebrate the new exhibition Lynn Anderson: Keep Me in Mind, the museum presents a public program featuring the singer’s father, songwriter Casey Anderson; her longtime producer and guitarist, Steve Gibson; world-renowned fashion designer Manuel, who created clothing for Anderson throughout her career; multi-instrumentalist Buddy Skipper, Anderson’s longtime bandleader; and Anderson’s daughter, Lisa Sutton. Hosted by museum editor Michael McCall, the program features rare photos, videos, and audio recordings.
