March 12, 2017 - Stuart Duncan is a master fiddler whose skill and imagination have made him one of the most in-demand musicians in America. He has been featured on approximately nine hundred recordings including works by Elvis Costello, Jerry Douglas, Béla Fleck, Alan Jackson, Mark Knopfler, Diana Krall, Panic at the Disco, Dolly Parton, Robert Plant, George Strait, Barbra Streisand, James Taylor, and Shania Twain. Duncan is a founding member of the Nashville Bluegrass Band and a key player in The Goat Rodeo Sessions, a collaboration with Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer, and Chris Thile. Duncan has earned four Grammy awards, numerous Academy of Country Music Awards, and nine titles as the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Fiddle Player of the Year.
