We're back at the first ever Two Guys On Beer Happy Hour with National Mechanics. The Brasserie De La Senne - or, De Zenne Brouwerij - puts out a spiced Belgian Pale Ale for the winter season called the X-Mas Zinnebir. The brewery goes by two names because it straddles the region in Belgium considered the language border between French and Flemish. We both struggled with this beer because of an almost time-released flavor profile that seems to have nothing to do with the aroma, and an extremely dry quality that is somewhat overreaching.
