The festival celebrates the legacy of Cathal Bui Mac Giolla Ghunna, an Irish poet who wrote the famous poem, The Yellow Bittern. The festival has poetry readings, traditional music. world music, exhibition of paintings, an art workshop, puppet shows and dancing for children, geo-archeological tours, a car treasure hunt, and a monster raffle.
