Bolt the token? Why not just chain lightning the moggs when he was tapped out and you had extra mana in your main phase?

You've used removal, while he has played out dudes - you allowed him to 2-1 you with his first dragon fodder, hence you have less cards.

You shouldn't have saced the token, you should have sacced the warmarshall to keep you numbers up for your bushwhacker. Obviously you are still going to win this, butstill.

With only 18 land in the deck, the probabilities break down like this:
Drawing two land in the first two draw steps ~10%
Drawing one land and one spell in the first two draw steps ~44%
Drawing two spells in the first two draw steps ~46%
So you're nowhere near as unlucky as you may have thought you were.
