Yeah - actually, Dave Speers wants us to get a boom mic, which would be stupidly cool :) We'd just need to find someone willing to hold it for beer.

Boom mics are okay, but if someone behind you talks, it will pick that up as well. We were encouraged to go with the Sennheiser G2 series and I am glad we settled for nothing less. Lav mics are the way to go if you get decent ones (about $500/each).

it was a joke, that was exactly the point of posting from the BeerTapTV user ID. had I been serious I would have created a dummy acount and posted from there. all of us at BTTV watch TGOB every week, we love the show.

start pouring down the center of the glass my friends vs. the bartender pour (down the side) it will release much more aroma and give you a greater appreciation for the nose of the brew.
