After early success as a breakdancer and rapper, Ali Dee transformed himself into an award winning Hollywood composer, writer and producer, creating soundtracks for blockbusters including The Transformers, Speed Racer, Sex and the City, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. His Alvin and the Chipmunks soundtrack won a 2008 American Music Award for "Favorite Album Soundtrack." Dee also produces and writes songs for top artists including The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Mary J. Blige, Natasha Bedingfield, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Mya and Shakira.
