Description

Strawberry, a colourful and juicy fruit is basically grown in
cooler regions of the world. However, in the temperate weather
condition of Bangladesh, its farming has started and has been
gradually expanding since 2005 quite surprisingly. Many farmers and
entrepreneurs are now farming strawberry. This year (2010), due to
huge flow of supply, price of this high-value fruit has fell down
and farmers feel disinterest to plant next season because they're
not getting price they deserve. Shykh Seraj (Director & Head of
News, Impress Telefilm Ltd./Channel i) brings an in-depth
analytical television documentary based on recent strawberry
farming, market and its possibility, giving examples from country
and abroad (Japan & Malaysia). The agro-documentary which he
directs and presents is Hridoye Mati O Manush where the episode was
aired.
