Haha XD I'm not sure how many countries are doing it, but I know for sure that it's getting famous within the French writer community over the internet ^^ That's how I discovered Nano ;D I don't know if there's other French people on Viddler though (if you see one, tell me, so I can go squee in French there ^^)

NaNo's very good for doing that. It gives you complete freedom to write total crap, and then you discover that what you wrote really wasn't that bad. :)
