Folgers Jingle Contest
Take Home $25,000 and will appear in a Future Commercial
One of the nation’s most well-known judges of musical talent,
multi-award winning songstress Kara DioGuardi, was in New York City’
s Times Square to help name the Next Folgers Jingle Star. Five
aspiring musicians from across the country performed their original
renditions of the 25-year-old iconic jingle for a chance to win
$25,000 and the chance to appear in a future commercial.

This is the result of a nationwide contest to celebrate the 25th
anniversary of the “Best Part of Wakin’ Up” Jingle. Over the years,
the iconic song was interpreted in a variety of musical genres
including country, gospel, jazz, R&B, rock and A Cappella.
