consider google docs. you'll be able to access your work from any computer with an internet connection (and it auto-saves!)

finding the perfect pen is a challenge.

Haha. I"m so glad there are places like NaNoWriMo where discussing the pros and cons of writing intstruments are acceptable topics of conversation. :-)

Very pretty! But I agree with the GoogleDocs suggestion; it helped me last year!

aww oh no! Here's an interesting bit of trivia I learned the other day though. Apparently John Steinbeck lost his original manuscript for The Red Pony, and he had to re-write it. When he found his original manuscript and compared the two, APPARENTLY they only differed by 7 words!!! So... I know we're not all Steinbecks but... don't lose hope!

yeah me too.. I like to handwrite things, but I often get tired of writing before I've gotten all my ideas out!

Oooohhh... nooooo.... Back up, back up, back up. I back up EVERY night onto TWO separate USB drives, and am so glad I do as my Netbook crashed out 2 weeks ago and luckily I'd JUST backed up and so lost nothing (said netbook is now reformatted and fully working again - I think it was a nasty virus).
I can't stress the importance enough of backing up regularly. Technology CANNOT be trusted amd don't think it'll never happen to you because it most certainly will... :-/
