Why do you care about his lands? You should be teachingsing and recurring mulldrifters and rebels instead of dinking around with his board. It gives you the illusion of control but you are not accomplishing anything.

You should be tapping four lands when you remind so that it nets you a mana. You should also invoke mulldrifted even if you don't want to cast it outright.
