During the second-term of 2011, puppeteer Gary Friedman was engaged to implement an Artists in Schools' program in two Australian schools for the Department of Education, which was inspired by a puppet play, written by a 13-year old boy in a concentration camp in Czechoslovakia in 1943.
In this program, our aim was to provide contemporary students in Years 5 and 6 at Curl Curl North Primary School with the opportunity to communicate their own stories and messages through the Arts.
