<strong>TheThird Annual Haydenfilms Online Film Festival runs from August 30 through November 30. This is the premier online festival for independent and student film producers to showcase their work. This year viddler is proud to partner with Haydenfilms to promote the films, filmmakers, and viewers.</strong> The <a href="http://haydenfilms.com/">Haydenfilms Online Film Festival</a> is open to all student and independent films. All genres are accepted, including shorts (under 10 minutes), animation, experimental, and documentary. Maximum length is 35 minutes. A preliminary judging panel had the difficult task of selecting the top 50 finalists from hundreds of submissions from around the world. During the Haydenfilms Online Film Festival the online community votes for their favorite videos and narrows the field to the top 4 films. These 4 films are then showcased at the Directors Guild of America in NYC in January & the winner receives $10,000 (cash!) plus a prize package of really cool stuff for future filmmaking. <em>Now its your turn!</em> The Haydenfilms Online Film Festival is exclusively online. The online community determines the winners. Its fun, its free, you can watch from the comfort of your couch and best of all, the talent and quality of the films are amazing! Viddler & Haydenfilms teamed up to create a contest to reward your viewing & voting. So here's how it works: 1. If you're not already, become a member at <a href="http://www.haydenfilms.com/fest07">www.haydenfilms.com/fest07</a>. Be sure to say you heard of the festival through Viddler! 2. Watch and vote on at least 10 films. (In order to ensure fairness to all the films, you must watch 80% of the film before you can vote and you must vote on at least 10 films. This is a fantastic voting system. ) 3. Create a video review of at least one film. Just let us know what you thought! Be creative, have fun! Put the video in this Viddler group. Tag the video with vhh. After the close of the festival, we'll pick one entry at random. The winner receives roundtrip transportation & hotel accomodations for two to NYC in January to experience first hand the red carpet celebration of the The Haydenfilms Online Film Festival winners.
